LiteWate Concrete Block
DecraStone manufactures both standard and lightweight concrete block. Because lightweight has the same ASTM properties as Normal weight, the company only inventories a lightweight block. Both have properties that meet or exceed ASTM C90 f'm requirements. Our proprietary LiteWate provides increased efficiency for designers and installers and savings to the owner. Less dead load on the structure and increased installation efficiency create cost savings for everyone. Shapes and Sizes can be picked from 2" to 12" widths.
Lightweight concrete provides the required ASTM fire resistance rating for equivalent thickness as provided by ACI 216.1 calculations. One hour to four-hour ratings for blended aggregates is available. The sound absorbing qualities of CMU's is an added feature not available in other wall products.

Retaining Wall Solutions
DecraStone manufactures a segmental retaining wall block that is available for both residential and commercial installation. Our in-stock color is MOSS - as shown. The concrete block has an 8" x 18" split face. The installation is made simple with no clips or pins. Just a lip on the bottom of the block set at the rear (facing the retained earth) allows for a consistent 3/4" setback on each course.
This split face retaining wall block can typically be installed as a simple "gravity wall" without sophisticated engineering if the wall is kept at 48" or less in height. A cap block as shown in the photo will finish off the wall. The cap should be glued in place. Split face corner units are available. The full face square foot SRW is designed with a rear bottom lip that allows for easy installation and provides for an 11° setback. Colors available are Moss, a very natural color that will blend with most landscapes.

Cast Stone
Our cast stone is produced in a plant certified facility. As a member of the Cast Stone Institute and the Architectural Precast Association the products produced are used throughout the region in a variety of governmental, educational, commercial and residential projects.
The dry cast process creates the best possible look, strength per ASTM C1364 that is possible. Four standard colors are available with other custom options.
